The relay is free.
Domain hosting is what we sell: US$5 a month per domain, everything in the list below included. The sealed relay costs nothing — it is built into CUBED-mail (free) and CUBE-Contact (30-day trial, then US$19 a year), and it is the app that does the sealing. It is not a second fee and there is nothing to buy for it.
What you pay for
Email domain hosting — US$5 a month per domain
- One domain per US$5 a month — MX for that domain, catch-all included. Each additional domain is another US$5 a month.
- Up to 5 addresses included — the domain price covers five mailboxes on that domain, with 2GB total storage.
- Any client — IMAP 993 (TLS) and SMTP 587 (STARTTLS); our apps, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, a phone.
- Sealed at rest — the mail volume is a LUKS-encrypted disk; the passphrase is sealed inside the CUBE store.
- TLS hardened — TLS 1.2+ only, MTA-STS published, TLS-RPT reports read daily, DKIM and DMARC on every domain we sign.
Subscribe — US$5 a month per domain
Checkout is on Stripe. The mailbox is provisioned automatically the moment payment clears — the credentials arrive by email at the address on your receipt.
What costs nothing
Sealed relay — free with CUBED-mail and CUBE-Contact
- Free — included in the app — the relay ships with CUBED-mail and CUBE-Contact; no separate fee, nothing to purchase, no line on the bill for it.
- Per address, from inside the app — register the app as the key holder in settings; the private key never leaves the app. Opt-in, one account at a time, never the default.
- Ciphertext on the server — no readable body for the address; a sealed envelope elsewhere, readable only by your app.
- Optional, never the default — switch it on inside the app for an address on a domain we host; with it off, that mailbox is an ordinary sealed-at-rest one.
Install CUBED-mail or CUBE-Contact
CUBED-mail is free; CUBE-Contact is a 30-day trial, then US$19 a year. The relay is part of what they do — it is never a line item on a bill.

Honest limits
Honest limits, mail. The standard tier sees plaintext during delivery — that is how hosted mail works. With the relay on, the server cannot search message bodies, cannot spam-filter content, and cannot reset or recover anything for that account; recovery is your own key backup. Connection-level checks (SPF, DKIM, DNSBL, header rules) still run on sealed mail. The relay is free with the apps today because it is the story of the store — not because the server is being paid to hold less.
